BMW's entry-level SUV, the X1, has been a favourite of ours for some time thanks to its agile handling, eager nature, and practical shape. Nicely equipped from the base model up, cabin is spacious for its class, refined driving demeanour.
It's enjoyable to drive and pretty roomy for a little SUV. BMW has also packed in a lot of its latest technology features. A cumbersome engine stop-start system and odd transmission tuning, though, slightly tarnish what is otherwise a well-done vehicle.
