Set in a pre-independent India, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ will see the hub of arts and culture in Lahore reimagined.

Set to release on the first of May, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ is a series that brings to life a bygone era of courtesans and nawabs.

While the name Sanjay Leela Bhansali is synonymous with royalty and grandeur, the production of Heeramandi is said to be his most ambitious yet; spread across eight one-hour-long episodes on Netflix.
